Reston Limousine driver Greg Payne helped pull off a surprise recently for a recently client who hired a limousine to celebrate his wife’s birthday:

IT WAS AWESOME! Off the charts. I know you probably do this quite a bit since you have access to limos but let me tell you it was a blast for us. My wife could not stop grinning. My 8-year-old nephew was unbelievable. He was so happy that he was talking crazy. Even my 21-year-old, who is very reserved, could not contain his happiness.

The scenario with the driver was outstanding; at first my wife didn’t know what to expect when we came out to our car and I asked the driver to move the limo. He said no because he was there to pick up Mrs. Parker for a night on the town. You should have seen her face; she lit up like a Christmas tree. It was a perfect!!!!!!!!!!

We did a toast in the limo with the juice; my 21 year old led the toast. We went to P.F. Changs (in Tysons); you have to go there. The food is terrific. When we pulled up, everybody was looking. The security guards at the place couldn’t stop looking; they thought we were somebody famous. My nephew was teasing around, talking about somebody asked him for his autograph. Afterwards we rode by the White House; it was great. Somebody said they may open the gates and let us in the Whitehouse (LOL). All in all, we had a great time!

Charlottesville Restaurant Week

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Hot on the heels of DC Winter Restaurant Week comes  Charlottesville Restaurant Week, featuring seven days of good food and good fun!

C&OFrom January 25-31, diners get to choose from each participating restaurant’s special prix fixe menu and enjoy three courses— an appetizer, an entree, and dessert— for just $26. (Beverages, tax, and gratuity not included.)

Participating restaurants include the venerable C&O Restaurant, which is serving its signature “steak chinoise,” roasted vegetable Wellington, a mountain trout, and— in keeping with the place’s French Provincial origins– chicken cordon bleu. Appetizers include pâté and wild mushroom risotto with currants.

Also joining Charlottesville Restaurant Week is Keswick Hall’s award-winning restaurant, Fossett’s, which features expansive three-sided floor to ceiling windows with spectacular panoramic views of the Estate’s pristine landscape and the beautiful Southwest Mountains beyond. Among the tantalizing dishes on the menu are Hush Puppy-Crusted Blue Ridge Mountain Trout and a Berkshire Pork Tasting.

Reston Limousine can provide the transportation for your day trip to Charlottesville, where you can take in an art exhibit before dinner or enjoy live music at some of the participating restaurants.

Reston Limousine also has minibuses and shuttles if UVA alumni and other Cavaliers fans want to get a group together on Jan. 28th to watch the men’s basketball team battle it out under the hoops with the Hokies after dinner.
