SmartCEO selects Kristina Bouweiri for Smart100

The magazine selects a Smart100 CEO for his or her leadership, strategic vision and character.

Bouweiri’s leadership extends to service on numerous local and area business boards, and her company’s philanthropic efforts annually assist a number of non-profit organizations. She is frequently asked to speak on management topics and share her insights as an entrepreneur.

All Smart100 CEOs will be profiled in the magazine’s 100-page annual supplement to publish in the near future. Honorees will also be listed on www.smartceo.com. Answering the question, “Why don’t others who are possibly just as successful become cult figures like he has?”, Kristina says:

It’s my opinion that his cult following was created from his humble beginnings. People love to see the American dream in action. Steve Jobs is the American dream, alive and well. His biological mother gave him up for adoption. His life has been filled with drama, including an experience with pancreatic cancer.
