As the preferred transportation provider at the recent Capital Caring Polo Cup in The Plains, Reston Limousine staff enjoyed the day watching the game between celebrities such as polo player and Ralph Lauren model Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras, host of America’s Most Wanted John Walsh and Salvatore Ferragamo, grandson of the famous Italian designer.

The June 18 fundraiser benefited Capital Caring’s new establishment, The Adler Center For Caring. The state-of-the-art, 48,000 square-foot inpatient center, which will be nestled in Stone Ridge Development, Stone Ridge, VA, will provide some of the most modern treatment and care available to people living with serious illness, according to the hospice’s website. It also will offer a walk-in-level clinic for pain and symptom relief delivered by Capital Caring’s fine physicians and nurse practitioners.

Eddy and Kimberly Estrada, and David Tutera at the Prevent Cancer Foundation's Annual Spring Gala

Early this spring, Jan Bresch, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of the Prevent Cancer Foundation, requested a donation of limousine service for a very special couple: Kimberly and Eddy Estrada.

The Palm Springs couple was featured by celebrity wedding planner David Tutera, who stars in the WE-TV show “My Fair Wedding” and also serves on the foundation’s board of directors:

Hands down, Kimberly and Eddy are one of the most gracious couples I’ve yet to encounter during my time working on My Fair Wedding. After battling breast cancer and going through chemotherapy and a tough recovery, Kimberly met her fiancé, Eddy. The impact that her cancer battle has had on Kimberly has changed her outlook on life and inevitably, the start of Kimberly and Eddy’s life together: their wedding.

This couple chose a fun and exhilarating theme, “Havana Nights” for their wedding with an emphasis on the colors hot pink and black. Kimberly was very adamant about incorporating pink into her wedding in all aspects to tie it in to breast cancer awareness and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to take Kimberly’s inspiration and run with it. …

Every year, the Prevent Cancer Foundation hosts a gala to raise money in support of cancer research. This year, Kimberly and Eddy, a wonderful, deserving, inspiring couple, will be my guests to the event in Washington, DC. I am so grateful to have met these two during their journey to the most important day of their lives as a couple: their wedding day.

Although it would only be a short ride from the couple’s hotel to the  National Building Museum where the foundation’s Annual Spring Gala took place on March 11, Jan Bresch knew a limousine would make the event that more memorable for this special  young couple experience.

Congratulations to Kimberly and Eddy — may you both have many more years of happiness together!
