For a Halloween experience that’s out of this world, or at least this area, check out Times Scare, New York City’s only year-round haunted attraction. We can get you there on our day trip on Sunday, Oct. 30th!

The horror-themed attraction features a state-of-the-art haunted guaranteed to scare even the bravest of visitors… possibly to death! For more information, visit http://timesscarenyc.com/.

GotlandFor those who prefer a less scary attraction in the Big Apple, check out
Gotland in New York, a design exhibition and film festival celebrating the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Gotland, Sweden’s largest island. The free exhibit, featuring the work of artists and designers who all live and work on Gotland, is located at Scandinavia House, Volvo Hall at 58 Park Ave.

After taking in the exhibit, sample the flavors of Gotland at Restaurant Aquavit, located at East 55th St. For a menu and more information, visit www.visitsweden.com/sweden/Local-pages/USA/Gotland-in-New-York/.

Looking to boost morale among your employees? Reston Limousine recently sponsored a wine tasting and dinner for our sales team — “perfect for team building and relaxing after an evening of work,” according to Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator Alyssa Travers!

RLS Sales Team 09282011 004Loudoun Valley Vineyards in Waterford recently stayed open late for our sales team, who sampled nine wines and Dustin’s “lazy man’s sangria” – a mix of the Classic White (Loudoun Valley’s most popular) and the Chambourcin.

Some favorites overall were the Chardonnay (even for red wine lovers!), the Chambourcin and the Dynasty, a Cabernet Franc blend. On the weekends you’ll likely see winemaker Bree Anne Moore and her husband, Cameron, greeting guests and discussing how they came to own the vineyard.

RLS Sales Team 09282011 002The team then headed to Magnolias on the Mill in Purcellville, where they enjoyed the calamari, Brie/crab/spinach fondue and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. They then had their own entrees, including Scallops with Sweet Potato Mousse, Filet, New York Strip, Crab Salad, and Salmon with Wasabi Mashed Potatoes. They also had a sampling of beverages including St. Germain sparkling cocktails, Pumpkin Ale on tap from their large craft beer selection, and Malbec.
