inc-magazine-blog-photoInc. magazine recently named Reston Limousine & Travel Service to its third annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a comprehensive look at an important segment of the economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs.

The 2009 Inc. 5000 serves as a unique report card on the U.S. economy, according to the magazine. Despite the ongoing recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year, with a median three-year growth rate of 126 percent. The Inc. 5000 are responsible for creating more than 1 million jobs since their founding.

This year’s list also finds Reston Limousine in the Top 100 ranking in Logistics & Transportation.

Getaway TV Show

getaways-blog-photoReston Limousine took a star turn recently on a Washington DC episode of Getaway, one of Australia’s most popular travel programs.

One of the company’s limousines is shown taking the show’s host, Ben, and Larry Graves, a Barack Obama lookalike, to the World War II monument where stunned foreigners get their photo taken with a man who looks uncannily like the president of the United States.

Talk Loudoun

Reston Limousine CEO and President Kristina Bouweiri shared the spotlight with other power businesswomen in the Aug. 20th issue of Talk Loudoun’s Rendezvous e-zine.

You can draw an analogy between a successful business and a successful sports team,” Bouweiri told Rendezvous. “They have similar challenges. It’s valid that women would be inspired.”
