Karen Schaufeld to speak at September Sterling Women Event
Reston Limousine CEO and President Kristina Bouweiri has made philanthropy an important aspect of the company and supports others who do so as well. One such individual is Karen Schaufeld, founder of 100 Women Strong and the speaker for Sterling Women’s monthly luncheon in September.
Founded by Kristina, Sterling Women provides a new networking opportunity for business women in the Sterling area and beyond. Each month a successful businesswoman from Loudoun County is invited to speak about her accomplishments.
In September, Ms. Schaufeld will talk about her passion for philanthropy through 100 Women Strong, which she organized to use strategic philanthropy to improve the lives of the citizens of Loudoun County.
Ms. Schaufeld is an enthusiastic volunteer and supporter of local and global environmental, arts, peace, and health programs. She holds a B.A.in English and Government from Lehigh University and a J.D. from the National Law Center at George Washington University. Ms. Schaufeld has worked in the fields of environmental permitting and compliance, specializing in energy cogeneration, as well as corporate, labor, employment, and insurance related law. Ms. Schaufeld also helped found NEW Customer Services Companies, Inc., the nation’s largest administrator of consumer product warranties, where she served as General Counsel.

Denim & Diamonds Dance Party
You don’t have to drive to DC to dance and have a great time! On Saturday, May 8th, 100 Women Strong is sponsoring the Diamonds & Denim Girls Dance Party at the AVCom/Visual Arts Studios at the Loudoun Commerce Center.
The cost is a $100 donation to 100 Women Strong, a nonprofit group composed of Loudoun County women who annually contribute $10,000 to make strategic investments in organizations that contribute to
the well-being of women and children in Loudoun County.
In its first year, 100 Women Strong provided grants to the Loudoun Community Health Center to equip two new pediatric examination rooms to enable them to increase their patient load from 5000 to 6000.
