Reston Limousine CEO and President Kristina Bouweiri joins other notable businesswomen featured as a ‘Woman Warrior’ in Northern Virginia Magazine’s July issue.

The Women Warriors feature offers  profiles of local women who have made their mark in the world of Northern Virginia business, according to the magazine. In Kristina’s interview, she answers the question, “What tricks have you learned in your business that got you where you are today?”

I think that to be successful and to stay in business for a long time, I think that you have to have a thick skin and be able to adapt to changing economies and environments. I think being able adaptable and reinventing myself by being a lifelong learner is what helped me be where I am today.

Each year, Reston Limousine donates more than $100,000 worth of transportation services and gift certificates to a variety of worthy causes, including the Children’s Inn at National Institutes of Health and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Recently, CEO and President Kristina Bouweiri was honored for her philanthropic endeavors by the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Kristina was presented with the Good Scout Award at the 14th Annual Good Scout Award Dinner. Past recipients have included John Wood of Telos; Mark Stavish; William C. Mims; J. Hamilton Lambert; Rod Huebbers; Hobie Mitchell; and Joe Boling.

At the May 10 dinner, emcee Cynthia DeLorenzi noted that Kristina “gives back every day” and “exemplifies what it means to be a good community leader.”

In addition to running the Washington Metropolitan region’s premier transportation company with revenues of $16.6 million, CEO and President Kristina Bouweiri travels the globe  as a speaker at business conventions, workshops and panels worldwide.

In her presentations, Kristina has addressed a variety of business topics, from networking to business operations to social media to women in business.
