Kristina on Steve Jobs’ Success

In her latest On Success column on WashingtonPost.com, Reston Limousine CEO & President Kristina Bouweiri discusses what accounts for Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ “aura of incredible success.”

Answering the question, “Why don’t others who are possibly just as successful become cult figures like he has?”, Kristina says:

It’s my opinion that his cult following was created from his humble beginnings. People love to see the American dream in action. Steve Jobs is the American dream, alive and well. His biological mother gave him up for adoption. His life has been filled with drama, including an experience with pancreatic cancer.
