Destinations: New York City

Take a bite out of the Big Apple without the drive taking a bite out of you on Reston Limousine’s Day Trip to New York City on Sunday, April 26th.

Our bus leaves McLean at 7 a.m. with a stop at a rest area before arriving in Chinatown in time for lunch. A couple of popular restaurant suggestions from Chowhound.com and Urban Spoon.com: Wo Hop on 17 Mott St. and Joe’s Shanghai on 9 Pell St. More interested in shopping? Grab a bite from one of the street vendors and head over to Canal Street for great deals. And don’t worry, you can drop your shopping bags back at the bus later on to go back for more if you need to!

If your Big Apple goal is to take in a daytime show, you can get off at Times Square instead. Some of the most popular shows offer afternoon performances, including Chicago, Mary Poppins, Shrek the Musical, Mamma Mia!, Hair, South Pacific, West Side Story and Wicked.

If you’re in the mood for the great outdoors, you can get off the bus at Central Park, where you can create a mini-landscaping planting and decorate a container during the free Earth Day at Central Park event from noon to 4 p.m. Take a unique part in this green event sponsored by the Central Park Conservancy by hopping onto a special bike to pedal Rock the Bike’s human-powered sound system for live performances!central-park
