Ten Great Ways to Enjoy DC

One doesn’t succeed in the limousine and shuttle service like we have without learning a thing or two about the best places to go, things to do, and most capable and trusted providers to rely on.

Listed below are a few of our favorite ideas for getaways and related resources. For even more, please contact us at 703-478-0500.
1. Start your evening at Hotel Washington for a cocktail on the terrace, where you will see one of the best views of Washington, D.C., including the White House. Then dine at Saveur, one of the best French restaurants in upper Georgetown. End your evening with a nightcap at Café Lautrec in Adams Morgan where, at 10 PM, the bartender tap-dances on the bar!
2. Pick up a picnic dinner at Sutton Place Gourmet or Wegmans and head to Washington, D.C. for a tour of the monuments. Then head to Hains Point to see the giant sculpture, The Awakening, a gigantic figure emerging from the earth. Enjoy your picnic dinner while watching airplanes land at Reagan National Airport and boats cruise the Potomac River.
3. Let our limo drive you to one of the best restaurants on the east coast, The Inn at Little Washington, a 5-star restaurant located an hour-and-a-half from the Washington area in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Leaving the driving to us while you relax and enjoy the company of that special someone.
4. Start your interlude with our limo taking you to an Elizabeth Arden spa for a half-day of luxurious treatments. Enjoy a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure and make-up application. Our driver and limo then takes you to pick up your significant other (unless they are already with you!) to sip a cocktail in the Round Robin Bar of the famous Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. Next it’s on to the Prime Rib Restaurant for dinner. Top off the night with an aperitif at the Four Seasons Lounge and a relaxing driving tour of the monuments by moonlight.
5. Let our limo take you to rediscover (or discover for the first time!) the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Be inspired by the IMAX movies “Space Station 3D” or “To Fly.” After the morning downtown, jaunt west to Chantilly, Virginia to explore the Air and Space Museum’s new Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center to see 80 aircraft and dozens of space artifacts on display, including the Space Shuttle Enterprise, an SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft, and the B-29 Superfortress “Enola Gay.” On the way, enjoy a catered boxed lunch in your car.
6. Begin your day at 10 AM, when our limo picks you up to tour Virginia wineries in Loudoun County. At your leisure, enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch by Celebrations Catering. Conclude your tour by spending the night at the Serene Acres Bed & Breakfast. For dinner our limo takes you to the best French restaurant in Virginia, the Eiffel Tower Café. After a refreshing night’s sleep, go horseback riding at Serene Acres Stables. On your way home, enjoy a massage at the Ayurveda Spa in Leesburg.
7. Start your evening in Olde Towne Alexandria as your limo takes you to one of several quaint 4-star restaurants. Follow dinner with an evening of dancing at the revolving Sky Dome Lounge in Crystal City, with one of the best views of the city. Then, let your wonderfully tired feet relax as your limo drives you home.
8. Make it a Ladies Day Out! Start with an afternoon tea and a fabulous assortment of petite sandwiches and delightful teas at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C. Then tour the magnificent Washington National Cathedral, making sure to see the North Tower, the romantic Bishop’s Garden, the Herb Shoppe, and the lower level gift shop. Head to dinner nearby at Cafe Divan in upper Georgetown.
9. Spend the day shopping in Georgetown dipping into the many wonderful antique shops, clothing stores, and art galleries. Call the limo driver anytime to relieve you of your shopping bags. Drive through the streets of Georgetown admiring the historic and famous homes. Next, go to the Upper Bar at Sequoia Restaurant where you may enjoy a drink and a lovely view of the Potomac River. Stroll along the romantic Washington Harbor’s waterfront before catching dinner at nearby Tony and Joe’s. End your evening with a moonlight tour of the famous Washington monuments on your ride home.
10. Make it a downtown “mall” experience! Begin with a visit to Library of Congress to explore one of their many fascinating exhibits. Then be naturally refreshed by the plants and flowers of the United States Botanical Gardens. Next your limo takes you on a driving tour of all the Washington monuments, stopping as you wish to further sightsee. Before long you’re off to historic Union Station, where you can catch a drink at the Rotunda Bar and browse the many unique shops. Wind down your day by dining at B. Smith’s restaurant of “B. Smith with Style” TV fame, where the grand Beaux Arts style dining room has 30-foot ceilings, period chandeliers and turn-of-the-century elegance.
