Of course, we have to recommend Virginia with its famous tagline, Virginia is for Lovers. Virginia.org has a long list of Valentine hotel specials, but we found this one to be particularly different. Visit Sperryville’s House on Water Street for an ultimate massage and farmhouse dinner in the mountains. Sperryville is about 50 minutes from Washington, DC. We could pick you up at your home, and you could order an amenity for the car ride, as you decompress and not worry about traffic, ice or snow. To learn more about this package, click here.

And to take that Virginia theme, Virginia is for Lovers, one step further, there are over 30 LOVEwork pieces located throughout the state. All of the LOVEwork pieces are different. Check out the map, do a little research to see which artistic rendition fits your significant others’ personality. Then give us a call and we will set up a daytrip so you visit 3-4 of these beautiful works of art. Photo Op extraordinaire.

Pazo

So you’re a foodie, who isn’t? But you’d like to try something outside of Washington. How about a day trip to Baltimore, start at the Inner Harbor/World Trade Center for the best view of the city in every direction. Then let us drive you to the 13th Floor to enjoy a ‘Mad Men’ themed cocktail at the 13th Floor bar at The Belvedere. There are tons of romantic restaurants in and around Baltimore that would be a perfect end to a Valentine’s Day. Pazo is one of our top picks according to Yelp reviews, with a varied wine list and lovely sofas in the lounge of this old warehouse turned fancy.

Rock Creek Parkway

And last but not by far the least, do a day in our beautiful District. Start with us picking you up at your home, stopping for breakfast in Café du Parc, then a lovely limo ride through the rustic expanse of 2,100 acres of Rock Creek Park. The historic park has cool spots to stop and get out for a walk, like Peirce Mill and The Old Stone House, as well as riding stables and picnic areas. Then on your return trip, stop at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown for afternoon tea or a glass of bubbly at the warm-sexy-cozy Georgetown hotel.

No matter how you spend this Valentine’s Day, Live a Little, Laugh a Lot and Love Always. We hope to be a part of your 2015 Valentine’s Day plans.
