The DMV is about to get walloped! If the models prove accurate, the nation’s capital and surrounding areas may see anywhere between 10 and 30 inches of snow this weekend. Call it Storm Jonas, Snowmageddon the Sequel, or Snowpacalypse II, it certainly seems like one of the greats.
Unfortunately, DC simply does not know how to adequately prepare for this type of storm. We see snow so infrequently that less than an inch of the white stuff can translate to hours of commuting misery and power outages. To help DC drivers and keep our community safe through the blizzard, Reston Limo compiled a list of tips from those who live in some of the coldest spots around the globe!
If you need to leave home this weekend and the snow is coming down, please take caution and abide by the rules above as best you can. Remember, nothing is as important as your personal safety so only get behind the wheel if it’s an emergency. Bundle up and be safe out there!
