Meet Nadia Sajid, Reston Limousine’s new recruiter.

Sometimes we need to take a moment to fully appreciate the contributions of a member of the RLS family. This month we are proud to feature our new recruiter, Nadia Sajid.

Nadia joined us as a Human Resources Generalist working under our HR manager, Karen Ballard. She saw the job posting for the position and thought it looked like a good opportunity to get back into the job market after taking a hiatus. Before joining Reston Limousine, she had worked in Human Resources for a school for students with special needs and the Strayer University online campus.

Nadia has been acting as Reston Limousine’s recruiter for a week so far and told us that she enjoys the exciting and fast-paced environment of the new position. When asked what she enjoyed the most about her career she admitted that hiring new drivers for the team was most exciting because the work they do is our company’s most important asset.

When asked what surprised her most about Reston Limousine, Nadia said it was by how close-knit everyone is. “Despite having busy work schedules, everyone is in touch with others and aware of their needs.”, she said. Other questions we asked to gain info for this blog were her two top vacation destinations and her favorite food. She told us that she would love to visit India and Turkey as both hold a special place in her heart; and that she is a true foodie-but her favorite cuisines are Thai and Lebanese.

Nadia was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States in her teenage years. She has an 8-year-old daughter who she enjoys painting and baking with. She also has a cat named Isabella who the family usually refers to as “Belly” due to her favorite position to nap in. We are proud to welcome Nadia as our new recruiter and appreciate her crucial efforts to help us add to the Reston Limousine family.
