Meet Victoria Wood, Fleet and Inventory Supervisor
Victoria came on board in July 2015 to work alongside Fleet Manager, Daniel Craig.
She is responsible for a multitude of important tasks including: ordering and stocking supplies for the Fleet and Detailing departments, negotiating price and cost reduction methods with vendors and affiliates, overseeing facilities maintenance practices, and overseeing the setup of new assets for contract or charter needs. She also works to maintain signage on assets, and performs administrative tasks regarding regulatory vehicle requirements.
When asked what surprised her most about working at Reston Limo, Victoria stated it was the fact that lower level management has been provided with many opportunities to prove their abilities through attrition in upper management. She has always been a firm believer that the parameters of your job description or title do not dictate what is expected of you, and regularly goes above and beyond what is required of her.
Victoria’s outstanding work ethic has allowed her to grow in her role, and she continues to do so as she aims toward obtaining a more significant role within the company.
Having relocated from Oregon 5 years ago, Victoria now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, John, and two fur babies, Max and Bart. In her free time, she enjoys DIY projects around the home, working out, listening to music, and cuddling with her pups on the couch with a glass of wine and a good movie!
Victoria’s personal mantra is “the person who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The person who walks alone is likely to find themselves in places no one has ever been before”. Her presence commands respect, and her pride and strong sense of self are evident through her work.
