GMU Honors CEO Kristina Bouweiri as Outstanding Leader

Dulles, VA, Dec. 10, 2015 – George Mason University recognized Reston Limousine President and CEO Kristina Bouweiri with an “Outstanding Leadership” award  in honor of her efforts as co-founder and co-chair of the Women in Business Initiative, a networking and professional development program coordinated by the university’s School of Business.

A member of the school’s Dean’s Advisory Council, Bouweiri received the award at the council’s meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 8.

GMU Outstanding Leader frameBouweiri established a fund in November 2013 to support the work of the initiative, then worked with others to build a consortium of prominent women business leaders in August 2014 that established a 10-year strategic plan for the program.

In addition to the GMU advisory council, Bouweiri serves on the boards of the DC Chamber of Commerce, World Police and Fire Games Fairfax 2015, Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance, Inova Loudoun Hospital Foundation, SmartCEO, Enterprising Women, Loudoun Education Foundation and Loudoun CEO Cabinet.
