Starting Nov. 1, Reston Limousine has begun collecting a $4.00 fee for for every airport transfer to and from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). The fee was prompted by recent regulatory changes by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and the entire amount is paid to MWAA.
There are two exceptions to this fee:
- “Meet & greet” arrivals met in baggage claim, which will remain a $10.00 charge
- Motorcoaches and minibuses (including VanTerras), which are exempt.
Many airports around the nation have had similar fees for years; the MWAA airports were among the last holdouts.
