
Reston Limousine proudly hosted 50 executives from the limousine and bus industries, as well as state and regional transportation officials, at the Virginia Limousine Association’s quarterly meeting Monday April 4 at our event partner’s premier entertainment facility, Topgolf DC in Ashburn.
At the meeting, VLA President Paul Walsh (Superior Executive Transportation) handed over the reins to incoming President Philip Jagiela, a former executive director of the National Limousine Association.

Prior to Jagiela’s installation, a series of speakers offered presentations on topics ranging from airport collection fees to limousine operators transitioning into the bus business.
The speakers included Chauffeur Driven Publisher Chris Weiss, Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority’s William Lanham, Loudoun County Supervisor Ralph Buona and American Bus Association’s Brandon Buchanan, director of regulatory affairs.

In addition to the speakers, members of the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles’s Law Enforcement Division were in attendance, including Special Agent in Charge Barbara Arkwright who is based in Richmond. She noted that the department has been charging TNC drivers with violations:
