More than 200 skilled artisans showcasing their hand-crafted, original works of art will be taking over Reston Town Center the weekend of May 16-17 as part of the 24th annual Greater Reston Arts Center Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival.
More than 30,000 patrons of the arts will be attending the juried festival, and Reston Limousine has partnered with the organizers to provide free shuttles from the Wiehle Metro station to Reston Town Center.
Here are details on the Reston Limousine shuttle:
- The bus will operate 9:45 a.m. -6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16 and 9:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 17.
- The first bus will depart from the Wiehle-Reston station at 9:45 a.m. on both days; the last bus back to the station will depart from Reston Town Center at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, and at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.Passengers will be picked up at a stop on the north side of the Metro station; the stop is located west of the entrance of the Kiss and Ride garage on Reston Station Boulevard.
- The shuttle will depart every 20 minutes for the 8-minute ride directly to Reston Town Center.
- For the return trip back to Wiehle-Reston, passengers can board the bus at the Reston Town Center drop-off point throughout the day.
Festival admission is a voluntary donation of $5 per adult, which provides a program with map and dining certificates from local restaurants. In addition to the festival art and entertainment, attendees can enjoy a display of vehicles and a “Ride and Drive” experience presented by title sponsor Volkswagen of America.
The event begins with GRACE’s Festival Launch Party in the Pavilion on Friday, May 15 from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. with food, entertainment, a silent auction, plus a chance to mingle with the artists in town for the big weekend event.
