CEO Kristina Bouweiri joins Dr. Stephen Fuller of The Stephen S. Fuller Institute at the Washington Business Journal’s State of Small Business event, where a panel that includes Kathy Hollinger of Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington and Tony Hudgins of TransitScreen will l discuss the results of the Washington Business Journals research on issues impacting small businesses in the Washington DC metro area.
The event, which is being sponsored by Sandy Spring Bank, will take place April 5 at Fairmont Washington D.C., Georgetown. The event will begin at 8:00 am with a half hour of breakfast and networking, followed by welcome remarks and an overview of the survey findings. Dr. Fuller will then offer his presentation, after which the panelists will discuss the region’s emerging trends and issues, including:
- The impact of small business on the Greater Washington Region
- How small business is evolving
- Tactics for taking on the biggest challenges in 2019, and how to take advantage of growth opportunities
- The economic climate in our region
