Reston Limousine CEO & President Kristina Bouweiri has generously donated to hundreds of fundraisers throughout the metro DC area over the years, and is now involved in one that is close to her heart: a FUNraiser for Daniela Joel, her niece.
Daniela was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glyoma on Thanksgiving Day 2008, a few months before her 13th birthday. Daniela’s dad died of a massive heart attack on the tennis court five years ago. The fundraiser is aimed at raising money for her mother, Bernadine, who is unable to work and living on donations because she cares for her daughter around the clock.

Daniela is a straight A student, she won the local American Idol contest in Lilburn, GA, she is the 12 and under STATE Tennis champ in Georgia, she can play the piano beautifully and she is a FIGHTER and has a great attitude. The FUNraiser For Daniela Joel will take place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Dulles Golf Center at 21593 Jesse Court.
It will be a vendor fair for teens and moms, professional photographs, a musical performance by Maddy Curtis, our Bluemont Gal from American Idol. Vendors include Arbonne, Mary Kay, Southern Living, Beijo Purses, Stella & Dot, Ann Carney, Chantel’s Bakery, Parklane Jewelry, Avon, Fun Company Picnics, and more!
There also will be door prizes for adults include a Limousine and Spa Day, and for teens a Limousine and Morton’s Dinner. Plus, photography by Teri Moy: $150 per photo with 15% of proceeds being donated.
Prior to the event, we will have an online Silent Auction from May 1-13, with all proceeds being donated to the fundraiser.
