A Night of Magic, then an Affair to Remember

Reston Limousine has a longstanding commitment to supporting children’s organizations, and in June we provided donations to two worthy causes: Northwest Federal Credit Union’s “Night of Magic” ball at the Children’s National Medical Center and YouthQuest Foundation’s Inaugural Washington Wine Affair.

Covered by NBC Washington’s Channel 4 News, the “Night of Magic” ball took place June 12 and was attended by more than 100 young patients at the Washington, DC, hospital. All volunteers were transported on a Reston Limo coach bus to the event , which organizers say was a huge success.

“It was a fun and non-threatening environment for these hospitalized youngsters,” NWFCU Foundation’s Executive Director Linda Rogus says. “Everyone was dancing and smiling including the patients in wheelchairs and those attached to medical support equipment. The atmosphere was truly electric!

“The families at the hospital will never forget this amazing evening. Parents had tears in their eyes as they thanked us for this one evening when the kids forgot about their illnesses. Your donation of a custom transportation package really helped to make sure all our volunteers were there on time, ready to work.”

Later in the month, Reston Limousine was a major sponsor for the Inaugural Washington Wine Affair, a June 27th fundraiser for YouthQuest Foundation at the National Press Club in Washington DC.

Based in Chantilly, YouthQuest Foundation supports the academic, vocational and life enriching development of America’s youth, especially at-risk youth. As a Grand Cru sponsor for the organization’s fundraiser, Reston Limousine provided luxury transportation for other major sponsors.
