You might have heard Yelp is celebrating Women’s History Month by making it easier to support women-owned businesses by adding a new “Women-Owned Business” designation on Yelp business pages and you can even get a free window decal! But it’s not clear how to designate your business as women-owned on your business page dashboard, so we came up with a quick how-to for our fellow women business owners:
If you haven’t done so already, claim your business on Yelp.
Once you’ve logged into your business profile, click on Your Business at the top, then Business Information at the left. Click on the pencil icon next to the Edit link to the right of the Basic Information title.
On the Business Information page, scroll to the very bottom and click on “Yes” on the women-owned attribute.
That’s it – you’re done! Be a boss and share the info – we’d love it if you linked back to our site as well!
