Welcome to Richard Horton, who recently joined the Reston Limousine management team!
Richard has taken on the new position of Call Center Manager. He brings to the job three decades of management experience in the limousine and airline industries.
As former vice president and general manager of a Los Angeles limousine company for 13 years, Richard handled ground transportation for numerous high-profile Hollywood events including the Emmy Awards, the Oscars and the Grammy Awards, as well as TV shows such as NBCâ€™s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,â€ “Access Hollywoodâ€ and CBSâ€™s “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.â€
As an airline executive, Richard worked in call center management and in marketing/sales for Continental Airlines and Delta Air Lines in a variety of leadership positions, including general manager of sales and customer service, manager for marketing and business programs and supervisor of online customer support.
Richard counts among his achievements the Outstanding 2010 Volunteer Award from The Trevor Project for his volunteer work as a certified crisis and suicide intervention counselor for youth. He also has been recognized with other awards for his support and dedication to various organizations including the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and the Federal Aviation Administration.
When he’s not handling call center issues with the company, Richard enjoys spending his time with his family or practicing his skills soaring in the skies in a glider.
