CEO and President Kristina Bouweiri recently was honored by local and regional organizations for her community service and her leadership of Reston Limousine, the Washington DC metropolitan area’s largest limousine/shuttle service.
The first, the Dulles Regional Chamber, honored Bouweiri twice — once for Community Service and again for Excellence in Marketing and Enthusiasm — at the chamber’s annual Chairman’s Awards Luncheon on June 30th. The chamber, which is the largest in Fairfax County, acts as a community partner for 1,000 businesses and affiliates in the Dulles and Rt. 28 business corridors.
“Kristina Bouweiri, President of Reston Limousine, continues to be an amazing force for the DC Metro area, contributing her time and talent to assist so many worthy organizations and events,” says Eileen Curtis, president and CEO of the chamber. “She has been the recipient of numerous Community Service awards, including ours. At the end of the day, I don’t think there is any greater encomium to be bestowed.â€
More recently, Reston Limousine was honored by the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization’s 2009 Done Deals Challenge, developed to recognize business contracts between WPEO Corporate Sponsors and Women Business Enterprise members.
“In the DC region, the number of Done Deals reported increased ten-fold this year,” said Liz Cullen, Executive Director, WPEO-DC. Cullen continued by saying, “We are pleased to honor Reston Limousine with the Done Deals Leadership Award for the most Done Deals with regional corporations completed by a certified women-owned business.”
“Not only does Reston Limousine deserve recognition for being the region’s premier transportation company, but its president and CEO, Kristina Bouweiri, demonstrates exceptional leadership in her work with our organization and the women’s business company,” Cullen added.
As part of the Challenge, Reston Limousine conducted business with: Accenture, BAE Systems, Exxon Mobil Corp, Fannie Mae, Jones Lang Lasalle, Lockhead Martin Corp, MetLife, Oracle USA, Time Warner, Comcast, Computer Science Corporation, Freddie Mac, Merrill Lynch, Verizon, Baker Botts, Allstate, American Red Cross, and CA, Inc.
