Wedding Transportation

Wedding in the works? We came across a great post about “When to Book Your Vendors” on DJ Evan Reitmeyer’s blog on his site, MyDeejay.com.

The Columbia, Maryland-based DJ reviewed suggestions from three wedding planning Web sites (The Knot, Wedding Wire and Brides.com) for their suggestions on when to book your wedding planner, the reception site, caterer, photographer, videographer, DJ, etc.

He also provides his own advice based on his experience of more than a decade in the industry, and he makes a lot of sense when explaining why his timeline deviates from the others. For transportation, Evan points out something that many brides don’t think about: late April through early June is also prom season, which places additional demand on limousines.

Johnny Sower, Reston Limousine’s Operations Manager, says that couples planning a wedding during that period should reserve their limousine and other transportation services as soon as they have a date. This is especially important if couples want a particular color for their limo, he says, “because everyone wants white.”

With the largest fleet in the metro DC area operating 24 hours a day, Reston Limousine can provide not only wedding limousines for your special day, but also vans, sedans and buses for your wedding guests before, during and after the ceremony. For more information, please visit www.restonlimo.com.
