The medals keep pouring in for Virginia wineries, and Reston Limousine’s destination weekend wineries are no exception!
More than 100 wineries in 11 states submitted 538 entries to the 6th Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition held recently at the Regency Country Club at Dominion Valley, and Northern Virginia came away with a good share of awards.
In the Best of Category, Pearmund Cellars took the medal for its 2009 Petit Manseng for Other White Vinifera Varietals. In the category of White Interspecific Blends: newcomer Paradise Springs Winery won with its 2009 Sommet Blanc.
Paradise Springs also claimed gold for its 2008 Cabernet Franc; it was joined by Pearmund Cellars for the 2008 Viognier and Sunset Hills Vineyards for the 2008 Reserve Chardonnay.
