Reston Limousine Posts Successful Year, Looks to Future

Dulles, Virgina:   Reston Limousine and Travel Service’s President and CEO Kristina Bouweiri, has announced that the company posted a successful 2010, growing its revenues by 28% over the past year. Despite the economy, the past year proved successful for Reston Limousine, with posted revenues of $16.6 million, topping a projected $14 million.

The Washington, DC area’s largest provider of public, private, and government contract transportation strengthened its outreach by hiring additional staff, purchasing new vehicles, using strategic marketing initiatives and collaborative business partnerships. Founded in 1990, Reston Limousine continues to grow its customer base and portfolio of services. Likewise, revenues have increased, more than doubling since 2003.

“What sets Reston Limousine apart from other travel service companies is our ability to not only see where we need improvement, but the desire and flexibility of our employee team to try different solutions to constantly improve our operations,” said Bouweiri.

Fresh from capturing the limousine industry’s premier Image Award honors for its resourceful marketing, public relations, and use of social media, Reston Limousine logged in travel arrangements for 512 weddings, 489 Virginia wine tour excursions, and 20 daily trips in other city areas through its affiliate nationwide network during 2010. The company’s American Girl Place trips to New York City were its most popular day trip last year.

Bouweiri and Reston Limousine were frequently in the spotlight in 2010. Selected to ask President Obama a question at a town hall meeting, Bouweiri was also the first female fleet owner to serve on a state-of-the-industry panel at the nationwide fleet owners conference. Additionally, she was invited to Beijing to speak at a global business summit for women business owners.

Focused on guiding her business through 2011 and beyond, Bouweiri noted that Reston Limousine will pay particular attention to enhancing customer service and safety through its use of eFleet technology programs. The addition of new, customized vehicles that perform to the specific needs of Reston Limousine’s clients, and continued evaluation and revised management procedures, will ensure the business remains in a proactive and leadership role in the industry.
