Willowcroft Farm Vineyards

Willowcroft Farm Vineyards is a local gem when it comes to winemaking in Loudoun County, VA. Famous for its award-winning wines, visitors travel from near and far to taste Willowcroft grapes in a bucolic setting.

Visitors are welcomed warmly and treated to a tour of the winemaking process in the historic red barn that was constructed before the Civil War. Snacks are available for purchase to pair with the wines, and a picnic area is available for those who wish to bring their own food and enjoy the view.

To date, the winery has won numerous medals in national and international competitions, including Virginia’s Jefferson Cup, Best of Fair in the Virginia State Fair competition, double Golds with International Eastern, and several California competitions.

The Willowcroft Farm philosophy states that the winery will strive to produce award-winning wines and share the good fortune and beautiful location with as many as possible.

With the Blueridge Mountains as the vineyard’s breathtaking backdrop, the rolling Willowcroft slopes make for a spectacular day trip. As the oldest vineyard in Loudoun County, Willowcroft has a long and rich history that dates back to the 1800s. More recently, Lew Parker, owner and winemaker at Willowcroft Farm Vineyards, planted the first vines in the 1980s.

Not much was known about growing wine in Virginia when Parker first began his journey, but today, Willowcroft boasts some of the most popular wines in the region. Sample some of the favorites by booking a winery tour through Reston Limousine or following the turn-by-turn directions on the vineyard’s website.
