Corcoran Cider Barn

With Virginia moving into Phase III of reopening, we can transport you for a distillery and cidery tour to local businesses accepting customers on site. We have compiled information on Loudoun distilleries and cideries that are welcoming visitors. If you are planning to bring a group, please contact them directly to ensure you have the latest information and policies before visiting.

Loudoun Distilleries & Cideries

Catoctin Creek Distillery
Tours at this Purcellville distillery have resumed, and you can once again book tour and tasting experiences online. No parties over 8 permitted on Saturday or Sunday, and large parties will only be allowed Tuesday-Friday with a prior telephone reservation. Corcoran Vineyards and Cider
Open Saturday and Sunday, this Waterford winery and cidery offers online reservations for a picnic table outside. Very limited indoor seating is available, and you will be greeted and seated by a host. Wine and Cider is being offered by the glass, bottle or carafe only, no tastings at this time. Henway Hard Cider
Located at Great Country Farms, this Bluemont cidery is open Thursday through Sunday. Order a bottle of cider along with fare from their “Bird Bites” menu, and enjoy the views of the fishing pond from the picnic tables. Click here to see what ciders are on tap.

Mt. Defiance Cidery & Distillery
Both the distillery in downtown Middleburg and the cider barn on East Federal Street are open for business seven days a week, with the exception of the cider barn closing on Mondays. Notaviva Craft Fermentations
The Hillsboro winery, brewery and cidery is open Saturdays and Sundays. All customers are required to check in at the front porch, where you’ll be assigned a designated space. Masks are required when entering the tasting room or on the front porch to make purchases. Click here for more details about their COVID-19 protocols.

Wild Hare Cider
The cider cabin at Market Station Shopping Center in downtown Leesburg and the cider pub in downtown Middleburg are both open Wednesday through Sunday. Indoor and outdoor seating are available – for the latest updates, click here to visit their Facebook page.
