About the Winery

Named after Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed the miracle of turning water into wine, Cana Vineyards is a family-owned winery that opened in 2012. With a majestic view of the Bull Run Mountains, Cana is located on 43 acres of land between Aldie and Middleburg.

Brenden R. McMahon, Cana Vineyards’ winemaker, has worked on all of Cana’s wines since the founding of the winery. Every weekend, Cana Vineyards offers live music on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The porch and patio afford visitors a comfortable place to enjoy wines with a picturesque hillside.  The second floor tasting rooms offers a similar view where an even broader view of the mountains can be had.

Both children and dogs are welcome to visit on the first floor of the tasting rooms, the porch, the patio and the grounds, however, the second floor is reserved for adults only.

Alan Kinne, Cana’s Executive Winemaking Consultant, began consulting for Cana in 2011.  His winemaking philosophy is simple:  great wines are a natural art form where the hand of man is lightly placed to direct the results.

Cana’s peaceful vistas and wines make it a great place to relax.  Come celebrate the miracles in your life with Cana wine.
