About the Winery & Cidery
Corcoran Vineyards first opened to the public in Loudoun County back in 2004, and it was the 11th winery in the region. Today, Corcoran produces, wine, beer, and cider, which makes them a triple threat! Business has grown significantly, so to meet demand, the team moved their brewery off the farm to a new location just 5 miles away in Purcellville. Winery visitors have the option of more than 10 wines and at least 4 tasty, gluten-free ciders.
Lori Corcoran went to school Administration of Justice but opted to raise a family and get her hands dirty working on the farm instead of going into her field of study. Production at Corcoran Vineyards started at just 550 cases under Lori’s watchful eye, but today the team is proud to produce approximately 5000 cases of wine and now cider.
Just like Corcoran Vineyards’ wine is grown in the vineyard, the cider is made in the apple orchard. Choosing apples for Tannins, sugar and acid, they combine to create the best of each variety. This produces sophisticated flavors that range somewhere between a glass of wine and a cold beer.
