About the Winery

Travel back to the 1860’s, and you’ll find yourself at The Winery at Bull Run. Located in Fairfax County, The Winery at Bull Run is connected to the Manassas National Battlefield Park. Visitors are invited to see winemaking techniques from the Civil War era.

On display, there are Civil War artifacts that are preserved in a small Civil War museum.  It offers actual relics dug up from an old smokehouse property and nearby sites as well.

Since its opening in 2011, The Winery at Bull Run has been collecting awards each year. The Winery at Bull Run is the proud winner of the 2015 Grand Harvest Awards Competition, 2015 American Wine Society Competition, 2015 Dixie Classic Fair Wine Competition, 2015 Atlantic Seaboard Association Wine Competition, 2015 Eastern International Wine Competition, and 2015 Virginia Governor’s Wine Cup Competition.

The Winery at Bull Run provides live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  You can also bring your own picnic foods and enjoy them on the expansive lawn and picnic areas outside.  Otherwise, there are various snacks to enjoy along with Gourmet Picnic Boxes/Platters that can be pre-ordered.  This winery does not allow for dogs, but if you’re willing to leave your trusty friend at home, this winery provides both a historic and tasty experience for everyone.
