For a Halloween experience that’s out of this world, or at least this area, check out Times Scare, New York City’s only year-round haunted attraction. We can get you there on our day trip on Sunday, Oct. 30th!
The horror-themed attraction features a state-of-the-art haunted guaranteed to scare even the bravest of visitors… possibly to death! For more information, visithttp://timesscarenyc.com/.
For those who prefer a less scary attraction in the Big Apple, check out
Gotland in New York, a design exhibition and film festival celebrating the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Gotland, Sweden’s largest island. The free exhibit, featuring the work of artists and designers who all live and work on Gotland, is located at Scandinavia House, Volvo Hall at 58 Park Ave.
After taking in the exhibit, sample the flavors of Gotland at Restaurant Aquavit, located at East 55th St. For a menu and more information, visit www.visitsweden.com/sweden/Local-pages/USA/Gotland-in-New-York/.
If you’re in the mood for Chinese instead, Chinatown offers a variety of restaurants including the newly renovated Wonton Noodle Garden at 56 Mott St. and dessert cafe Oh Two Five at 43 Bayard St.
Other stops on our New York City day trip include Central Park, where you can take the West Side Stories Tour at West 81st St. and Central Park West.
