It’s not too late to win tickets from Reston Limousine. Enter today!

The longest-running wine  festival on the East Coast  will be held next weekend, Sept. 15-16 at Great Meadow at the Plains. You’ll get to sample wine from more than 50 wineries, enjoy gourmet nibbles from local vendors and get down to the music of live bands.

To enter Reston Limousine’s contest to win two tickets, email your name to atravers@restonlimo.com with “VA Wine Fest” in the subject line. Two lucky winners will be drawn at random to win two tickets each. Entries must be received by 5 pm TODAY, Sept. 5. The winners will be contacted by Friday Sept. 7.

Some things to know before you go:

* You will need to bring your ID as well as your ticket, if already purchased. The event will be held rain or shine, so rain gear is advised.

* Tastings end at 5:30pm each day. Wine Bottle and Case SALES continue through close (6pm).

* The parking lot gates will open at 10am and close at 8pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

* Children are welcome at the event and there is a large ‘Children’s Area’ with a jumbo inflatable obstacle course, Becki the Balloon Lady, and more!

* With a Designated Driver ticket, you will be wrist-banded differently and will not be able to taste or purchase wine. There will be 2 marked DD booths on the premises where you can receive complimentary soda or water.

* You may bring water and other outside snacks. Please, no glass containers. If you have medical equipment (such as insulin supplies), please inform the security personnel searching your cooler. You can bring a cooler, but event organizers will search your cooler for outside alcohol, which will not be permitted.

* Please do not bring your pet with you to the event. You will not be able to enter the festival site with your pet.

* Discount: there will be $5 discount offered at the Box Office on site for Senior Citizens (65+) and active duty Military personnel. Please have your government issued ID with you and present at the time of on-site purchase.
