Historic Whitehall hosts springtime social

This week we have a post by guest blogger David Weinschel, CEO of Celebrations Hospitality, on his recent social event at Historic Whitehall in Bluemont!

Key movers and shakers of the Loudoun County hospitality industry battled the rain last evening to socialize and tour all of the newly decorated guest rooms at Historic Whitehall, the wine country’s embassy for quality entertaining, food and wine. Unfortunately, the vineyard tour of Whitehall’s newly planted Cabernet Franc Vines had to be postponed due to the weather.

The guests enjoyed an array of flavorful international cocktail style dishes that Celebrations Catering Chefs Jose Marty and Ryan Runge created for the evening:

  • Moroccan Lamb Martini’s  with Toasted Pearl Cous-Cous
  • Fresh Latin Style Citrus Ceviche
  • Mediterranean Layer Dip with Savory Toasted Pita Wedges
  • Chicken Diablo Bake With crisp Tortillas
  • Fine International Cheeses

Whitehall look this opportunity to introduce friend Aimee Henkle, the new owner of Lost Creek Winery, to their industry colleagues. The Lost Creek staff provided new industry friends with a sampling of their newly released collection of outstanding wines. They were received extremely well by this estate filled with Virginia wine aficionados. The Lost Creek wines paired beautifully with Celebrations Catering Cuisine in this amazing setting where Reston Limousine provides transportation each week for Whitehall guests. It was an evening enjoyed by all!
