2020 Wine, Beer and Chocolate Trail
Grab one of the sweetest passports this holiday and partake in a pairing featuring The Conche’s artisanal chocolates with adult beverages from 8 Chains North, 868 Estate, Belly Love, Breaux, Catoctin Creek, Corcoran Vineyards, and Walsh Family Wine. Get your passport stamped at each location after your pairing, and get a second stamp when you purchase a bottle. Winter Wine-derland at The Stable
From Nov. 21-Dec. 27, Bluemont Vineyard turns their event space into a family friendly winter wonderland on the weekends. Their Holiday Bar offers mulled wine, port and hot cocoa with all the fixings. Other activities include cookie and wine pairings, decorating gingerbread man cookies, creating a wine work craft ornament, and roasting marshmallows by the fire pits. Salamander Uncorked: Sparkling Wines of the World
Sommelier Catherine Watkins leads this monthly casual wine tasting where you’ll learn about five wines and the region they come from. On Dec. 16, the theme is sparkling wines from Italy, Spain, and France. Small bites are included with each tasting. Click here for details, including reservations.
