Here we are in the 11th month of the year and instead of slowing down as the year comes to an end, we are, instead, picking up steam. So many things happen in November – we “fall” back and set our clocks accordingly, we honor our Veterans, we recognize World Kindness Day (11/13), we give thanks and enjoy time with family and friends, and then we tie up the month shopping for more good deals then we thought possible and buy things we didn’t realize we just had to have!

Can we all agree adulting can be hard? We work, pay bills, take care of others, wait in line at the DMV – you get the picture! BUT there is also a bright side to being an adult! We work hard so we can play hard! While summer lends itself to many fun things we can do (especially here in NoVa) – swim, hike, ride bikes, garden, and explore outdoor treasures – fall is THE season for “spook”tacular adventures!
