A veteran of the transportation industry, Joe oversees and manages Reston Limousine’s IT department. Prior to joining the company in 2013, he managed safety and compliance programs for a local operator for seven years.
Joe’s experience, skillset, and initiative have propelled his career since he started in the industry in 2007. While still in college, he applied for a job as a driver with a transportation company and was offered an office position instead. Within a year, he was promoted to manager. Joe then joined Reston Limousine as a dispatch supervisor in our Maryland office. He has subsequently held positions with more within the company, including managing and supervising shuttle operations, and then managing IT initiatives. As Safety and Training Manager, he will be introducing and continuing technology initiatives including managing the use of a new fleet management system implemented earlier this year, going paperless and transitioning to electronic forms, and offering online video training for new and current drivers.
Joe possesses a bachelor’s degree in English from George Mason University, and has experience as a college and private corporate tutor. When he’s not training our drivers or overseeing the safety program, he devotes his free time to computer programming and spending time with his family.
