Melissa assists in reviewing financial and operational processes and output for accuracy and consistency within corporate goals and objectives. She is responsible for contract payroll reporting, benefits accounting and the preparation and timely filing of documents required by regulatory agencies and/or outside parties. She joined Reston Limousine in 2005, bringing nine years of accounting experience to serve as Staff Accountant and oversee the payroll process for more than 200 employees and drivers. In 2007 she took on more responsibility, leading to her position as Assistant Controller. In 2016, she was again promoted, this time to Controller.
Prior to working at Reston Limousine, Melissa managed two restaurants as well as owned one. She also worked at an accounting firm with a client base that included law firms, non-profits, car dealerships, auto body repair facilities and restaurants. Melissa also heads Reston Limousine’s Telework!VA initiative, a program that will allow qualified employees to participate in a formal teleworking program, helping to reduce traffic congestion in the area.
