How far in advance should I book my wedding transportation?
While Reston Limousine operates a private fleet of more than 250 vehicles, during peak season our vehicles tend to book early which may affect availability. Peak season typically runs mid-April through June and early September through early November; if your wedding date falls within this period, we recommend you reserve your vehicles ASAP to ensure availability. If your wedding date does not fall within the peak period, we suggest booking at least a few months in advance.
What is the minimum time you can book vehicles?
All of our vehicles except our 55-passenger motorcoach buses have a 3-hour minimum. Motorcoach buses have a 4 hour minimum. In addition, from mid-April through mid-June, we have a 6-hour minimum on limousines that are booked on Fridays and Saturdays with any portion of the hours after 5:00 p.m.
Do you allow splitting of the hourly minimum?
All vehicles have a 3 hour–minimum, with the exception of the motorcoach bus, which has a 4-hour minimum. From April to June, limousines have a 6-hour minimum for Friday and Saturday reservations after 5:00 pm. The hours must be booked consecutively, but it may be more cost-effective to book two separate trips if there is a long enough gap in time between transportation needs.
Do you offer luxury “getaway” vehicles?
We recommend one of our Sprinter Limousines for bridal parties and a Lincoln MKT sedan for a getaway car at the end of the evening, and we work with affiliate partners to offer vintage cars and other specialty/high-end vehicles.
What factors go into the cost of wedding transportation?
Transportation pricing starts with the vehicle type and number of hours. The minimum hours for limousines change based on the time of year, as noted in the previous question. Also, if a location is out of our defined service area, there are additional travel time charges. As long as a vehicle is booked for the necessary hours, there are no additional charges for distance within that time frame for multiple stops or pickup/dropoff points.
Is gratuity included in the cost?
In addition to their pay, our drivers are compensated on a performance-based incentive program; if there are no complaints from the client, then drivers receive a commission on the trip. Any gratuity you would like to provide is completely at your discretion.
Do you offer point-to-point transfers in limousine vehicles?
We offer point-to-point (one-way) transfers in all sedans, SUVS, vans, and buses, but limousines require a 3-hour minimum reservation in the slow season and a 6-hour reservation from April to June for Friday and Saturday bookings after 5 p.m.
