To quote an old, but familiar song, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”. And for a lot of us, this is true for many reasons: Time spent with family and friends; taking in all the winter decorations, lights and festivities; shopping for others; planning and going on road trips…the list goes on! For some of us, the opportunity to volunteer and help others is also what makes it the most wonderful time of the year.

Here we are in the 11th month of the year and instead of slowing down as the year comes to an end, we are, instead, picking up steam. So many things happen in November – we “fall” back and set our clocks accordingly, we honor our Veterans, we recognize World Kindness Day (11/13), we give thanks and enjoy time with family and friends, and then we tie up the month shopping for more good deals then we thought possible and buy things we didn’t realize we just had to have!
